Muslim Terrorists In Court


A Muslim charged with terrorism offences has been remanded in custody during a brief court appearance in London. Omar Altimimi, 36, of Bolton, Greater Manchester, faces four charges under the Terrorism Act 2000, he appeared at Bow Street Magistrates Court in central London. Following raids in Bolton last month, Altimimi was arrested andaccused of possession of articles for the purposes of terrorism and three counts of possessing records for the purposes of terrorism. Altimimi appeared alongside a second defendant, Yusuf Abdullah, 29, also of Bolton. Both men face a separate charge of acquiring or possessing criminal property under the Proceeds Of Crime Act 2002. The accused spoke only to confirm their identities and give their addresses during the 10-minute hearing. District Judge Caroline Tubbs told the men that they would appear before Horseferry Road Magistrates Court in London by video link on August 4.
