Breaking News: A very sad day for England

A very sad day for England as it is announced that the St. George flag, England's national flag since the 11th century will be dropped and replaced with a new one.

The dragon slayer's flag, which was worn by King Richard The Lionheart and his knights on the crusades will be dropped, after the Church and Government decided that it was 'too offensive' to Muslim communities now living in the UK.

Not only will the flag be replaced but the church is considering rejecting St. George for being 'too war like' and are considering St. Alban as the new Patron Saint of England. St. George will have his Saint hood removed.
St. Alban was a Christian martyr during the Roman occupation of Britain.

The St. Alban's flag will be a replica of his symbol which is a blue background with a yellow diagonal cross.

~ The Rose & The Oak Leaf urges everyone to reject this new flag and to hang up even more St. George's Flags and show them that we will not reject our glorious Saint nor our glorious flag ~

If this is true then it just shows how far our country has slided. I'm absolutely gobsmacked.

I wonder, if I had moved to an Islamic country and demanded their flag to be removed and replaced because I found it offensive due to Islamic terrorists and suicide bombers, if they would change it????

Glad to see you've put the site back up and switched the guestbook back on.

All I can say is the crusaders must be turning in their graves. I will never accept this flag as our country's flag and will burn it.
